What Renlow does with your information

Last updated August 2026. This notice describes how the Renlow assessment handles information today, in plain terms.

The short version

Your answers are processed in your browser. Producing your score, opportunity and report does not send them to us. If you create an account and save an assessment, the answers are then stored against that account.
We do not ask for card numbers, bank details or merchant credentials at any point. If you buy, Stripe takes the card details on its own checkout — Renlow never sees them.
We do not sell data, and we take no commission from any payment provider.
Analytics is anonymous and cookieless: no advertising trackers, no session recording, no cross-site profiles.
You can delete everything held on your device at any time with Start again on the assessment, and you can ask us to delete your whole account.

If you create a Renlow account

An account is where information does leave your browser: it has to, so your assessment is still there tomorrow and so a later assessment can be compared with an earlier one. This is everything an account holds.

Your account email address, and the encrypted credential used to sign you in

Kept: Renlow's plan record is kept while the account exists. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and are not deleted on request

Who else is involved

Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.: Payments. Takes your card details directly on Stripe's own hosted checkout and holds them. Renlow never sees or stores a card number.
Supabase (EU region): Authentication and database hosting for accounts, saved assessments, correction history, plan records and enquiries.
PostHog (EU region): Anonymous, cookieless product analytics. No answers, no money figures, no identifiers.

Cookies and analytics

Renlow sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The assessment uses your browser's own local and session storage to hold your answers and your place in the questions, so a refresh does not lose your work. Product analytics, when enabled, is anonymous, cookieless and hosted in the EU; it records only that a page or step happened. The complete list of events is: landing_view, assessment_started, assessment_completed, results_viewed, report_generated, primary_cta_clicked, feedback_submitted, enquiry_interaction, assessment_step_viewed, assessment_step_completed, assessment_step_back, assessment_abandoned, section_viewed, page_exit, validation_state_shown, unlock_path_viewed, paywall_viewed, comparison_viewed, purchase_started, purchase_completed, intelligence_viewed. The only details attached are: path, cta_id, step_count, duration_ms, is_sample, returning, usefulness, concern, wants_contact, has_notes, interaction, step_index, step_number, steps_total, is_final_step, from_step, completion_pct, surface, section_id, section_index, sections_total, sections_viewed_pct, deepest_section_id, deepest_section_index, scroll_depth_pct, seconds_on_page, entitlement, signed_in, product, checkout_status, industry, industry_group, segment, money_basis, validation_reason, unlock_answerable, unlock_outstanding, is_comparable, traffic, study_id, session_class. Your answers, your figures and your provider details are never sent to analytics. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is sent at all.

Deleting your information

Choose Start again on the assessment to erase the answers held on your device. Clearing your browser data removes them too.

To delete a Renlow account, email privacy@renlow.co.uk from the address you signed up with. There is no self-service delete button yet, so this is a request we action by hand. Deleting the account removes your sign-in, your profile, your saved assessments and their answers, your correction history, and any merchant statements you uploaded — the stored files themselves as well as the record of them. Payment records held by Stripe, and the record of what was purchased, are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Anonymous analytics events cannot be linked back to you and are not affected. We confirm within two UK working days and complete deletion within 30 days. If you sent us an enquiry and want only that deleted, say so and we will delete it.
